Horrible there I said it I feel better now... You walk in here and its literately 95 degrees in here. I placed my order and after waiting about 15 minutes at the counter one of the managers informed me my order was never prepared and if I would mind telling her my order again. She then informs me that the machine that makes the frozen drinks is down so I said ok can can I get a tres letche in its place she said fine. I went to the condiment bar and it was terrible there were sauces and peppers spilled over the counter area from end to end. finally got my food (after placing my order twice ) The tres letche was hot it turns out the cooler is also not working, so far we have a broken AC, a non working frozen drink machine, and a non working cooler where they keep the deserts. Are you starting to see a trend yet ? I asked to see the manager and she came out to the dining area and walked around like she was going to spot the reason why nothing in the restaurant she manages works. I am amazed this place is so disorganized and still has customers.

I recognize I am not your typical demographic for Pollo a Tropical nor do I review fast food places but in concept I do like Pollo in South Florida. However recently I have had two very negative experiences that everyone shoul be aware of. 1. Today I received chicken pinker than the color pink. I am so pissed but was not going to chance stomach poisoning so just threw it away. 2. A few weeks ago the mindless idiot at the cash inputted my 1/2 chicken white meat order as 1/2 chicken (not white). Since I have had many problems with this location I reviewed the ticket after paying and told my brilliant non motivated cashier of the mistake. Don't worry she said I will take care of it. She sure did! I came home with the non white meal and chucked it. 3. So now it's time to tell my CFO and mid level manager buddies how disgusting and robotic the Company is. And I will feel very good if I can eliminate several people from being customers. For all of you that have had similar negative experiences let's do this company justice. You think of customers as crap and we will do what is necessary to reduce sales.

Let's be real here, this is Pollo Tropical. A franchise. There's one in every city. The one thing I notice about this Pollo is there is a high percentage chance they will forget something on your order. Especially if you order through the drive thru. Why did they get at least 2 stars instead of one? The chicken here seems to come out with the very fresh grilled taste.

I ordered some food at this particular location two nights ago and the food was horrible . I ordered a family meal , the chicken was white on the outside and barely cooked on the inside , I will never order from here again .

This is the most disgusting food I've had in a long time. I had 1/4 chicken with yuca and corn. First off there are tostones that is a side dish that isnt available as a side dish even with an up charge; you have to order it separately. Then the chicken has very little meat on the bone. The yuca with garlic sauce definitely had no garlic, it was slimy, sticky and mooshy. I thought there is no way to mess up corn but they did, it tastes like cardboard. I dont know how the FDA even lets anyone eat this and call it food. There is no way in H E L L will i ever eat there ever again. Even if someone gave me a free meal I would refuse and wouldn't even suggest it for your dog. The place looked filthy, the seats were worn down torn pleather and they handed me a wet slimy tray with my food on the cheapest Styrofoam plate. I wouldn't be surprised if they had rats and cockroaches in their facilities. DO NOT GO!

Every time I come to florida, this is a must have. There chicken is good, but what makes it great are their variety of sauces. The creamy cilantro and curried mustard...yummmy. The side dishes are pretty good too, the corn and yuca. I heard the tomatoes are good too, but I haven't tried them yet. I also want to try the ribs..hmmmm The prices are great and service is quick. I love Pollo!!!!!

Went here and got to-go. It was very busy for a Wednesday evening. Seemed like it took 10 minutes to get my order. Food was good and price was moderate. Overall, no complaints. Will definitely be coming back.

An extremely underrated fast food place that is somewhat healthy considering their options. I strongly recommend their tropi-chops as they come with plenty of food. The thing that puts them over the top is price and sauces. The yellow mustard sauce is tasty with their chicken, but comes with high sugar content. However, if you were thinking KFC or some other option Pollo Tropical is the place to go

Just an average chicken joint, nothing to write home about. One problem I have is their inconsistency with fries. Seven times out of ten the fries will be overlooked and rocky. Otherwise, everything is average, it is just very convenient prices. Some of the staff is rude, but it happens. They seriously need to make better rice though, the rice is just below average. I just go sometimes because the prices are convenient. Nothing great about this location. Cilantro garlic is nasty as hell sometimes too.

My wifes father died and I came here to order a bunch of chicken for the wake... they got mad at me that I ordered 10 chickens without calling them in advance... the guy at the window actually copped a huge attitude that I ordered too much chicken for a funeral. So have a good attitude at Pollo Tropical if you want service.

Good taste of Caribbean dishes...u can have a flavor of Mexican too...the wraps and sauces r awesome... They take little time to give the food...but happy with their service...it was nice experience to have some Caribbean food at home

We usually love pollo tropicals menu..however this particular location seems to a staff full of ass clowns. This location is the closest to our home and has officially been hailed the worst location. They always get orders wrong, never fails to have missing items in simple orders. Tonight for instance ordered 2 meals and plaintains..she assured me its all in the bag..nope no plaintains.. The tropichillers are way watered down..breads sometimes stale..and an hour before they close they say they have no more chicken..whaaaaa but your a chicken joint.. I was so perplexed one night 4 weeks ago..I asked how is it that you run out of chicken..the reply was "oh no we have chicken but it will take too much time to go grill the chicken"..lol I laughed..so I said ok I will wait..just to see what she would say..I hear her on the speaker talking in the background to perhaps a cook or manager..and she comes back and replys "no sorry it takes longer then a hour to grill our chickens".. Comical place I tell ya. Do yourself a favor take the hit on the extra miles and head to the one off Hillsborough and military trail.. The lines are a bit longer however in the past from my recollection they have always gotten our orders correct. We will now solely be using that Deerfield location despite it being a trek from our home..its just not worth the aggravation to continue losing brain cells at this wiles rd & coconut creek location.

I have been here numerous times and it's always busy and extremely slow. Half the time they are either out of the different condiments or make mistakes with the orders. Need better management to control the customer experience.

Considering its a fast food chain, idk what ppl are complaining about. Fast service, always packed/busy. Over worked and underpaid employees who remain professional. And my kid loves the chicken.

Okay, time to start my review. Damn I have a lot to talk about. The food is good, but the service is terrible. First, let me tell you, there chicken sandwich and wrap are great. There salad is good as well but I have a problem with it some times. I always get the chicken quesadilla salad with no chicken. Literally almost every time I go there, they put chicken on. Another thing, the line is so long. It starts all the way from a garbage dump, to the front. It literally took a half an hour just to order food. There are many more things to tell you, but that's for a different occasion. If it isn't your only choice to go to Pollo Tropical, go somewhere else. If you do go, I recommend the chicken sandwich. Just good luck ordering it.
